resolved Help me find the crime TV show Live Action TV
I need to find the name of this TV show and the season and episode. A woman who was a Navy seal was holding people hostage on a train or subway until she got more information on her son’s wrongful conviction in her mind. The woman’s son killed his sister by pushing her down the stairs.
The main point of the interrogation was that there was a 45 minute pause between the interrogation and the confession.. they interviewed the killer in jail who said they were high at the time of the killing. The woman holding the people also had a Killswitch that would detonate just by touching her heart.
I believe the son's name was Jacob and the daughters name was Emily. father also said to Jacob, that it was time to step up for what he had done. The sister had broken her neck, the mother wrote the book on bombs, I am not confident on the names.
Specifically focus on the 45 minute pause,, the mother writing the book on bombs, the son admitting he was high at the time of the killing and the mother playing a voicemail for the detective from the daughter saying that she would get her own dinner. .
For other facts, they were doing the interview with the son in jail, and the specifically said I was so high. She was in so much pain. The father specifically told the son it was time to step up and admit what he did. I also did watch this on Facebook, but I cannot find the video.
open90's/00 sitcom Live Action TV
This one has been floating around in my head and I can't find it online. It was sitcom from the 90s or 2000s. The premise was that a woman in her 20s I think inherits her famous dads estate in LA after he dies. She may not have known this guy was her father. Her friend moves in with her at the house. For sitcom reasons there are 2 guys who live in the pool house which was payment for preparing the dads video will. From here I think it was just these two adjusting to living in LA.
I think it only lasted one season but I need to know that this sitcom existed and I didn't just make it up.
openNo Title Live Action TV
This is going to be pretty vague, so my apologizes in advance.
Ok, I'm pretty sure this show aired on Nick or disney and was a live-action drama (well, a kid drama I suppose). I don't remember much at all about this show except for one scene . The scene I remember is when the two main characters (both girls) first met- One of the girl's had stepped in a pile of gum and was trying to get it off her shoe when the other girl came up and either helped her or lent the girl her shoes. One was a blonde and the other had dark hair I believe.
I think the show was about how different the girls were as one was preppy and other was more of a tomboy. I think. haaa.
Yeah, it's insanely vague, but I'd love to remember what the hell this show is.
openTaxi Driver (2021 series) Live Action TV
Have you guys heard of the 2021 ongoing Korean series Taxi Driver (starring Lee Je Hoon from Signal)? (I earlier wanted to simply discuss the tropes that could fit the series and characters and the reviews of the series as a whole but I removed the question because I was worried I was breaking the suspension rules doing that out of context)
Edited by Rm74openMove to Heaven Live Action TV
There is also the underrated Netflix dramedy series Move to Heaven. It's about a ex convict uncle and autistic genius nephew duo who own a trauma cleaning business where they clean up the. deceased's belongings which leads to learning more about them and the things they left behind.
openShow about guy with big d*ick getting pantsed Live Action TV
Some dude get's pantas infront of his whole school and is mortified. In the trailer for it, the bully who pants him looks up at his body after pantsing him. Everyone is in shock because his willy is apparently very big.
I think the whole scene happens in slow motion
I am looking for the trailer with that bizzare scene.
I don't think it's The Hard Times of RJ Berger but I could be wrong.
[edit] found it, was wrong

Has anyone heard of the recent Netflix Korean thriller series Mask Girl?
resolved 2000s or earlier sci-fi/horror/mystery live-action show where unexplained phenomena mutates plants Live Action TV
The show takes place in modern times. One night, some kind of weird unexplained phenomena happens a-la Roadside Picnic. The rest of the show is about discovering its effects and figuring out what it was. Things I remember:
- The phenomena was some weird glowing flying geometric shapes and some kind of sound. (I'm not 100% sure on that, actually. I might be mixing this up with some other media.)
- One of its effects was Body Horror-esque mutated plants. I think I remember the characters looking at vegetables in someone's garden and it had like... teeth or something.
- I also remember that the people living there were affected too, but I don't think they were mutated physically. I think they were either driven insane or mind-controlled.
- The phenomena might've been caused by aliens. Or it might've been just a theory the characters were throwing around in-universe. I honestly don't remember.
- I feel like the show ended very abruptly, so it might've been canceled early. (Or maybe the rest just wasn't aired in my country.)
resolved Series from the 70's about a family who traveled back to prehistory Live Action TV
This series was aired around the 1970'a (at least in Brazil). It featured a family who somehow traveled back in time to the stone age, and had to survive against the odds. They live in a house with a rolling stone as a door, and the father usually had a solution to the problems.
Edited by good-morningopenSome kids show, I think Live Action TV
All I can recall is that in the beginning of every episode, 2 girls introduce themselves before asking where this male character is and then said male character appears and says "here I am"
openEnglish Supernatural Show Live Action TV
Ok so I think I watched this show on netflix but I cant find it in any records. It was about 3, maybe 4 adults. Either English or Irish I think. That investigated paranormal and absurd claims to find the truth behind them. One episode had them proving that ghost lanterns were just owls, and another had them trying to solve the sighting of a black panther. I think it was 2 dudes and a woman, and they worked out of an RV. The film wasnt amazing so early 2000s I'd guess. There was another episodes about deer in a gilf course and one about foxes being mostaken for demons i think. Also one about boars and ine about chupacabra. And at the end of each episode, theyd make like a powerpoint compilling evidence to show the locals and let them decide whether they thought it was paranormal or not.
Edited by Zee-Trayhorneresolved Sitcom about a son and his estranged father Live Action TV
OK, I'm looking for an old, pretty obscure TV Sitcom, from the late 1980s or early 1990s. Probably from the US, but maybe some other Anglo country (Canada, Australia? Not sure.) It's about an estranged son returning (after years, or even decades, it seems) to his old father. The father is a Deadpan Snarker if there is one, and probably a widower, I'm not sure because I only know the trailer and some small bits I saw while zapping.
The son looks a bit like Emilio Estevez (not the one of today, but at that time), and the father reminds me a bit of Martin from Frasier, but I'm sure the series is not Frasier.
Anyway, the series starts about like this: The son (short brown hair) is standing in the door of the father's house and wants to come in, and the father (full grey or white hair, no glasses) isn't pleased. (The dialogue is paraphrased, because I only know the German dub.)
- Son: "Hi!"Father: (forgot)Son: "Don't you know me anymore?"Father: (forgot, but answers in the negative)Son: "But I'm your son, <name>!" (I think he was named George, or Martin.)Father: "So what?"Son: "Can't you let me in?"Father: "Why should I?"Son: "But I've got something to tell you!"Father: "What is it?"Son: "I'm freezing!"Father: "That's all?"
Then, I remember a different scene from the first or second episode. Apparently, the father did let the son in (of course, otherwise this would be a very short series). An older woman (the housekeeper, I guess) is shocked and tells the father that she saw a naked man in the bathroom (guess whom). To which the father only reacts like "Then you saw more from him than I did."
Anybody knows this TV show? It ran on the ARD station, in the Vorabendprogramm (18-20 o'clock).
Edited by Frank75openShort anthology horror series Live Action TV
So there’s a man and he’s sitting at his desk in his room on his laptop and he gets an email from anonymous and the email is a picture of his house from across the street. He keeps getting these emails and the pictures keep getting closer to his house, the last picture is from behind him. It’s night time and the lights were off in his room, the only light was from his laptop and a streetlight just outside his window. His desk was in front of his window and the door was directly behind him, there was also a bed to his right. Across the road there was a bus stop that was one of the ones with a shelter and a bench.
What I know : - around 2016-2019 - 99% sure it was British - it was not a well known show and I don’t think it was popular -pretty sure it only had 1 or 2 seasons - the episodes were very short - it was an anthology series -it was real life, not animated - the opening was the outside of an old timey theatre with the name of the show - I only remember that one episode - it was on normal tv not Netflix or anything - I have been trying to find this for months and I’ve googled everything. - i know I didn’t imagine it because my brother remembers it too but he can’t find it either

open(not sure) Live Action TV
This was a Japanese psychological horror/thriller series on Hulu a long time ago. Possibly the director or writer was someone famous, or it was based on a famous work? Each episode focused on a different character whose stories all interconnected. Overall tone of the show was very understated. One specific episode featured a woman who was being kept as a "living doll" by an abusive creepy guy. The subject of at least one episode was a wedding.
openComedy Tv show (Uk I think) that I’m trying to figure out Live Action TV
There is a rant in this sitcom where one of the characters says “that we all know wasn’t funny the first time!”
Any help would be much appreciated!
openGuy says "that would be ridiculous" with a lisp Live Action TV
Alright, this is random as hell and not very specific at all but it popped into my head last night and it's driving me crazy that I can't figure out what it is.
It's definitely live action, I think TV, and made in the last 10ish years. I don't remember what it is or any of the context, all I remember is a white middle aged man (I think he's bald) with a lisp saying "hi kids!" and something like "that's ridiculous" or "that would be ridiculous". But he says "ridic-oh-luss" not "ridic-you-luss". And he has a slight southern accent I think. I was trying to remember any details, any at all, but all I know is that he was talking to kids. I can't even remember if there were any kids there or if he was directly addressing the audience. I think it wasn't a straight forward kids show, it was a parody of kids shows or something? This is so vague, I'm sorry, but if anyone has any ideas please let me know.
openCouple move into mansion looking for hidden money Live Action TV
I think it was a serialized series, kinda like "Amazing Stories" with the twist ending. Set in the 1800's, a young couple move into a mansion owned by a grumpy old man after hearing rumours about him hiding his fortune somewhere on the property - buried in the fields. They take jobs as maid and butler and while working, search away. Unsuccessful, the husband devises a plan for his wife to become "cozy" with the old, ugly man, against her wishes. At first, she is disgusted, but after a while she begins to enjoy it and slowly starts to pull away from her husband and get closer to the old man. I think her and the old man then decide to leave, leaving the husband all alone. The last scene is him digging in the field, with the background showing numerous holes dug.
I remember seeing this drama a couple years ago, it involved a pair of girls whose dad died and went to heaven, the girls are taken in by their aunt who has a bratty daughter. One of the daughters gets a dog while the other gets lesson from an old lady I think? By the end of the first episode or so they're older teens/young adults (forgot which). A couple episodes later a jerk gets in an accident and an angel accidentally possesses his body, where the guy's soul ends up in hell. The angel ends up in a relationship with one of the girls, I think the one who got lessons. One of the episodes later the angel tries to get the original guy's soul back to his body by going to hell with another angel. I'm not sure how the series ended but that was what I remember.
